Rotary Club Installs 2007-08 Officers and Directors

     Rotarian David Allen conducted the installation ceremony for Lawrenceburg Rotary Club's Officers and Directors for Rotary Year  2007-08  at its July 6, 2007 meeting.  Allen charged the incoming Officers and Directors to uphold the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self" and pledged the continued support of the club in their endeavors. 

     Bill Phillips accepted the Presidential Gavel from out-going President Neal Beard.  Phillips is the 61st President of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club. This is his second term as President, previously having served from 1999 to 2000.  He is only the second person to have served as President twice, Virgil Crowder, Jr., M.D. being the other. 

      Polly Marsh becomes President-Elect after having faithfully served the club as Treasurer for almost a decade.   Also serving as Officers for 2007-08 are:  Vice President Jack Grinnell, Secretary Maria Santini-Bolin, Treasurer John M. Beasley, First Director Chris Williams,Second Director Randy Brewer, Third Director J. Mack Chandler, Fourth Director Todd Tingle, Immediate Past President Neal Beard, and Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Norwood.

    As his first act as President, Phillips presented Immediate Past President Neal Beard with the Past President pin and plaque.  President Phillips congratulated him for an outstanding year as President and thanked him on behalf of the club for his dedicated service to Rotary.
