Rotary Club Announces 2009 Students of Excellence

The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club announced the recipients of its annual Students of Excellence Awards at its May 8, 2009 meeting. The Student of Excellence Awards are presented by the Club to students from the local high schools who have exhibited extraordinary leadership and scholastic ability and service to their schools and communities.
The Students of Excellence recipients are selected by each of the three county high school’s faculty. Loretto High Assistant Principal Phyllis Borum introduced Amber Hughes and Atticus Wright as Students of Excellence at LHS. Lawrence County High Principal Michael Atkins introduced Brittany Yates and Cain Beckman as the LCHS recipients. Summertown High Principal Bryan True presented the SHS Student Excellence Awards to Paige Smith and Galen Livingston.
