Bertolini Plant Manager Speaks at Rotary Club

Gary Dainels, Lawrenceburg Plant Manager of Bertolini Sancuary Seating, was the guest speaker at the January 8, 2010 meeting of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club. Bertonini has been in sanctuary seating business for 50 years, starting in California. In 2006, Bertolini opened its east coast distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia and moved its manufacturing plant to Lawrenceburg in February 2009. It is located in the old Tridon building.
The company is still owned by the Bertolini family and is currently run by Jim Bertolini. The Lawrenceburg plant manufactures sancturary seating while the California plant manufactures hospitality seating. The Lawrenceburg plant currently has 52 employees.
Daniels stated that they plan to add additional chair models and pew ends to their product line manufactured in Lawrenceburg in the near future. In addition, they are exploring the option of bring in-house to the Lawrenceburg plant the processing of the wood and plastic backs for the chairs which are currently purchased from outside vendors.
