County Extension Agent Guest at Rotary Club

Calvin Bryant, UT Agricultural Extension Agent for Lawrence County, was the featured speaker at the February 26 meeting of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club. Bryant presented an educational and enlightening slide show on the agricultural industry in Lawrence County.
He also gave an overview of the services the Agricultural Extension Agency provides to Lawrence County: 1) Agriculture; 2) Horticulture, under the direction of Wendel Smith, which includes the popular Master Gardeners Club; 3) Family and Consumer Services which includes the Home Demonstration Clubs; 4) the 4-H clubs, under the direction of Tracy Hagan; and 5) Community Resources Development, which is the local Community Clubs who are major supporters of the Middle Tennessee District Fair.
