DA Bottoms Presents "What's the Rush?" Program at Rotary Club
by Bob Augustin Jr.

District Attorney Mike Bottoms was the guest speaker at the March 27, 2009 meeting of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club. The topic of Bottoms' presentation was the Tennessee District Attorneys Conference's new program to educate Tennessee's youth about the legal, financial and social consequences of becoming teen parents, "What's the Rush?". The number of teen pregnancies continues to increase in Tennessee, subsequently raising the number of child support cases being processed in every county in the state. The "What’s the Rush?" video takes an in-depth look at real Tennessee teens and their struggles of being teen parents.
