David Crockett State Park Cabins Program Topic
at Rotary Club
By Bob Augustin Jr.

Henry Phillips, David Crockett State Park Manager, was the guest speaker at the July 16, 2010 meeting of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club. Ranger Philliips, assisted by Ranger Rachael Lee, presented a program on the new cabins now available for rent at the park.
The seven new cabins overlooking beautiful Lindsey Lake are completely furnished with two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen and a covered patio. The cabins were designed and built with energy efficiency in mind. They are the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified vacation homes in the state of Tennessee Parks system and the eastern United States. Cabins are rented year round with a six night minimum during the summer from Memorial Day until Labor Day and two-night minimum from Labor Day until Memorial Day.
To make reservation for these new cabins, call (931) 762-9408 or toll free 1-877-804-2681.
