District Governor Visits Rotary Club
by Bob Augustin Jr.
Rotary District Governor Larry Boyd and his wife Roxann visited the October 17, 2008 meeting of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club. This is not the Boyd's first visit to Lawrenceburg. They were special guests of the club at the Middle Tennessee District Fair in September. The club had made special arrangements for DG Boyd to drive in the Demolition Derby, but he wisely chose to watch it from the safety of the perch instead.
DG Boyd has been active in Rotary for over 25 years. He was a charter member and the charter president of the Nashville South Rotary Club and the Brentwood Morning Rotary Club, of which he is currently a member. He has served as District Governors Representative, Assistant Governor, and various District Committees. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and an alumnus of the Rotary Leadership Academy.
