CLUB NAMED MOST OUTSTANDING IN DISTRICT
NEAL BEARD NAMED DISTRICT ROTARIAN OF THE YEAR

Rotary District 6760 named The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club as the Most Outstanding Club in the District at its 2007 Conference in Murfreesboro. Club President Neal Beard was also named District Rotarian of the Year. District 6760 is made up of sixty-five clubs with combined membership of approximately 3600 Rotarians.

The club received the Star Club award that is presented to clubs who reach Rotary's EREY contribution goal of $100 per capita, and the club was presented with the RI Presidential Citation. Rotarians Virgil Crowder, Jim Johnston, and Bill Phillips were presented "Lead The Way" awards recognizing their contribution to the district in the current Rotary Year.
The awards were presented by District Governor Slick Frazer during the Rotary District 6760 Annual Conference that was held in Murfreesboro on May 4 and 5, 2007.
